This test is what most people think of when they hear the term “Wonderlic test.” This test helps employers learn about your ability to learn, adapt, solve problems, and understand directions.
Please note, this test is sometimes referred to as the Wonderlic Personnel Test (WPT-R).
Test Structure
- 50 Questions
- 12 Minutes
All questions are multiple choice format. Most questions have 5 answer choices, while some will have 4 or 3 choices.
4 Different Categories
- English Knowledge – 38%
- Logic – 20%
- General Knowledge/Quick Recognition – 18%
- Math – 24%
The percentages to the right of each category represent the percentage of the total test. As you can see, English knowledge represents nearly 40% of the test.
Since there are only 12 minutes to answer 50 questions, you will be pressed for time. You will have about 14 seconds to answer each question.
Fun Fact: It has been estimated that only 3-4% of candidates actually finish all 50 questions on the Wonderlic.
